Mecklenburg County, NC won a 2021 National Association of Counties (NaCO) Civic Education & Public Information Achievement Award for its COVID-Safe 91²Ö¿â Reduction & Recycling Outreach Program. Jeff Smithberger, County Solid 91²Ö¿â Director and independent contractor, Maitri Meyer of Recycling Educators, will share how they quickly converted their in-person presentations and MRF tours into safe and accessible virtual webinars. The e-learning case study will overview what was done, lessons learned, and program outcomes.
