Since 2007, Women In Trucking Association, Inc. (WIT) has championed the employment and advancement of women in trucking, fostered connections, and recognized achievements. As the original community supporting women across the industry, WIT serves professionals at every stage of their careers, from the driver’s seat to the C-Suite, while engaging companies and allies committed to building a stronger future for trucking.
WIT believes women should have every opportunity to enter, grow, and lead in the trucking industry. Through education, resources, networking, mentorship, and professional development, WIT creates pathways for women to build meaningful careers and for companies to attract, develop, and retain talented employees. Members gain access to a community of industry professionals, professional drivers, leaders, students, and allies who share knowledge, exchange ideas, and build relationships that support both individual and industry-wide success.

Membership provides opportunities to connect throughout the year through Engage, WIT’s member-only online forum; mentorship and networking groups; member and corporate directories; volunteer and engagement opportunities; and WIT on the Road events that bring the organization’s mission directly into local communities. Members also receive access to professional resources, industry insights, member benefits and discounts, and opportunities to promote their organizations through advertising, sponsorships, and exhibiting.
WIT helps members advance through educational and professional development opportunities, including live and on-demand webinars, whitepapers, resource guides, Redefining the Road magazine, WIT eNews, and the WIT Index for industry benchmarking. The WIT Career Center and Job Board connect professionals with career opportunities, while the Professional Driver Hub and Resource Library provide tools and information designed specifically for drivers. WIT’s annual Accelerate! Conference & Expo brings together industry professionals for education, networking, business development, and collaboration.

Recognition is another cornerstone of WIT’s work. Through programs including Member and Volunteer of the Month, Influential Woman in Trucking, Distinguished Woman in Logistics, Driver of the Year, Top Women to Watch in Trucking, and Top Companies for Women to Work in Trucking, WIT celebrates individuals and organizations creating change and demonstrating excellence. The Salute to Women Behind the Wheel event also celebrates the women who drive the industry forward, recognizing the dedication, skill, and contributions of female professional drivers.
Beyond its membership community, WIT promotes greater awareness of women’s contributions to trucking through public outreach and industry engagement. Programs such as Trucks are for Girls, the WITney® Educational Trailer, and the WIT Image Team, and participation in industry conferences and events, help introduce new audiences to the many career opportunities available in trucking.
Whether connecting with a mentor, developing new skills, finding a career opportunity, attending an industry event, or celebrating the achievements of others, WIT provides community and resources designed to help women and the companies that support them thrive in trucking.

WIT is supported by the generosity of members, including Gold Partners: Amazon, Bridgestone Americas, C.H. Robinson, Daimler Truck North America, FedEx Freight, Great Dane, International Motors, J.B. Hunt Transport, Michelin North America, PACCAR, Penske Transportation Solutions, Perdue Transportation Inc, Ryder System, UPS, and Walmart.
