Amrep, a leading provider of refuse collection vehicles for more than 50 years, today announced its official dealer partnership with MTech in Ohio, Michigan and Western Pennsylvania. The Cleveland, Ohio-based dealer will represent municipalities, private haulers and contractors for the Amrep line of front-end, automated side-loader and rear-loader refuse truck products.
The news comes on the heels of Amrep’s major footprint expansion in North Carolina, designed to support a rapidly growing East Coast and Midwestern customer base.“We are proud to partner with MTech in bringing Amrep collection vehicles to new and existing 91ֿquip customers in the Midwest,” said Eric Mattson, President of 91ֿquip’s Truck Division. “MTech has an impressive track record of success thanks to its customer-first mentality and expansive service capabilities. We appreciate their partnership as we look to offer all-in-one waste equipment solutions across the country.”
The addition of MTech to its dealer network strengthens Amrep’s service reach throughout the Midwest and provides further opportunity to leverage the factory production capacity of the Ontario, California, factory and the expanding manufacturing footprint on the East Coast with 91ֿquip’s investment in the Salisbury, North Carolina, facility.
“We are extremely excited to offer the Amrep complete line-up of refuse trucks to our customers,” said Greg Cira, MTech General Manager. “Amrep has a reputation for engineering innovation when it comes to refuse truck technology, along with a high level of attentive service to its dealer network and to municipal and private hauler customer partners. We are particularly excited about Amrep’s growth initiatives involving the expansion of their Salisbury, North Carolina, campus. This expansion, along with its talented team and factory based in Ontario, California, will position Amrep even further as a trusted truck builder across North America.”
