NGVAmerica is proud to announce that Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper will speak at the 2015 North American NGV Conference & Expo to be held at the Colorado Convention Center Sep. 15â17 in Denver. Gov. Hickenlooper will provide remarks during the conference opening on Tuesday, Sep. 15. Gov. Hickenlooperâs vision for the responsible use of his stateâs significant natural gas resources has led to expanded programs and incentives that have helped grow fueling infrastructure and put more natural gas vehicles (NGVs) on the road. Â He has also been a leader among fellow Governors in encouraging state fleets to use more NGVs. Â Governor Hickenlooper will share Coloradoâs success story and his vision for the expanded use of natural gas as a transportation fuel. âColoradoans want more options when it comes to transportation fuels,â said Hickenlooper. âThis yearâs conference & expo showcases the many opportunities natural gas can provide as a viable fuel that is clean-burning, affordable, abundant, and produced right here at home.â
The 2015 conference & expo is set to be the largest NGV event of the year in the U.S. with more than 80 exhibitors and over 800 attendees. The three-day program, which is hosted by NGVAmerica, features a comprehensive educational program, a 90,000 sq. ft. expo hall, a Ride & Drive, two NGV-specific off-site tours that also include fueling facilities, and numerous social functions where leaders across the NGV value chain will network, share ideas and collaborate to further grow the marketplace for natural gas vehicles. âNGVAmerica is excited to bring the 2015 North American NGV Conference & Expo to Denver this year,â said NGVAmerica President Matthew Godlewski. âGovernor Hickenlooper has been a leader in promoting alternative fuels through the highest environmental standards. Â We are honored that he has taken time in his schedule to bring his message to this yearâs event.â
