The introduction of Harris American University represents the continuation of previous training programs, now integrated into one curriculum with a fantastic new home鈥� says DJ VanDeusen, president of Harris American.听
The announcement of Harris American University coincides with the opening of a dedicated training and technology center in Cordele just down the street from the company鈥檚 manufacturing operations there. 鈥淭he facility has a state-of-the-art classroom as well as a hands on, practical learning center where attendees can work on various critical elements of our equipment including electrical panels, hydraulic manifolds and much more鈥� says Eric Farmer, vice president, Harris American technical training. The facility will be used for customer training as well as training of Harris American鈥檚 dealer technicians, technical field staff and teams from across the companies four manufacturing plants.听
Companies who own Harris American equipment have full access to the curriculum which currently includes include two-ram fundamentals; advanced two-ram; triple compression balers; and shears with a broader curriculum already in the development stage. Attendees will not only benefit from the courses and hands on experience, they will also be able to meet and interact with Harris American engineering, production, and field service leadership.听
