TransEdge Truck Centers, one of the largest Mack dealers in the Northeast and winner of many awards for excellence, will celebrate 25 years of operation Aug. 25 with an open house at its flagship location in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The dealer also has operations in Pittsburgh, Blue Mountain, and Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. 鈥淐ustomers know they can rely on TransEdge to provide the best truck for their needs as well as exceptional service and support after the sale,鈥� said Stephen Roy, president of Mack Trucks North America. 鈥淢ack Trucks is proud to join TransEdge in celebrating this milestone.鈥�

TransEdge opened in 1990 when current owners Bob and Judy Dwyer, along with three other partners, purchased the company-owned Mack dealership in Allentown. Bob Dwyer had worked for Mack Trucks since 1978 and previously served as branch manager at the Allentown facility before the purchase. Mack Trucks has operated an Allentown dealership since the 1920s.

In 2014, TransEdge was named the Mack Leasing Dealer of the Year and also received the Mack Trucks 500 Group recognition and the Born Ready Award, recognizing the dealer most committed to the brand鈥檚 strategy. TransEdge was also the Mack Dealer of the Year for North America in 2011 and earned the Parts Dealer of the Year Award for North America in 2007. 鈥淎t TransEdge, it鈥檚 very important that we do business in a way that meets and exceeds our customers鈥� expectations,鈥� said Bob Dwyer, president of TransEdge. 鈥淭hat鈥檚 always been the Mack way, and we鈥檝e lived up to those high standards for a quarter century.
