The National 91ֿ & Recycling Association (NWRA) announces the addition of LaBella Training to its Endorsed Partner Program. This partnership provides NWRA members with access to LaBella’s nationally recognized training programs for solid waste professionals across multiple disciplines and state certifications.
LaBella Training is an accredited provider through the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), offering continuing education and certification courses tailored to landfill managers, transfer station operators, compost program managers, and other solid waste facility personnel. With both classroom and hands-on instruction, LaBella’s programs help ensure compliance, improve safety, and enhance operational performance across the industry.
“We’re excited to welcome back LaBella Training as an endorsed partner,” said Michael E. Hoffman, president and CEO of NWRA. “Their high-quality training programs directly support our mission to advance the waste and recycling industry through safety, professionalism, and best practices.”
Through this partnership, NWRA members will have access to exclusive offerings from LaBella, including discounted courses and resources designed to support certification requirements and continuing professional education. Training options cover a wide range of topics such as landfill and transfer station operations, stormwater management, hazardous materials handling, composting, collections, and OSHA safety standards.
“We are proud to partner with NWRA and continue providing quality, timely, and hands-on training to solid waste professionals,” said Kristie Hooper, LaBella Associates’ director of business development. “Our shared commitment to safety and compliance will help strengthen the industry and its workforce nationwide,” continued Jeff Fantell, PE, LaBella Associates’ vice president/training program manager.
