Trash Flow, a leading provider of software solutions for the waste hauling industry, announces the addition of designer Sabin to its team as the company continues to expand its focus on user experience, product design, and the ongoing evolution of its software platform. The addition of Sabin represents an exciting new chapter in the development of Trash Flow. As technology continues to evolve along with haulers needs, Trash Flow has reached a point where adding additional Designers with fresh perspectives to our team is essential.

With 25 years of experience in design and user experience, Sabin will work alongside Trash Flow CEO and longtime designer George, who is transitioning into a more collaborative design role while continuing to contribute his experience and vision to the company’s products. Together, the two designers will bring complementary perspectives to the continued development and refinement of Trash Flow’s software, creating a collaborative workflow focused on making products more intuitive, efficient, and responsive to the real-world needs of waste hauling professionals.

For nearly four decades, Trash Flow has built its reputation around one central objective: saving waste haulers time. Founded by CEO George in 1989 and developed specifically with the waste hauling industry in mind, Trash Flow has grown into an all-in-one software platform serving the operational needs of residential and commercial haulers, roll-off companies, and landfill operations. Its capabilities include billing, route management, dispatching, container tracking, in-truck technology, online payments, and landfill management.

That long-standing industry focus is now being paired with a renewed emphasis on how customers interact with the software and how modernized technology is impacting haulers day to day.

Designing Around User Experience

For Sabin, effective design begins with understanding the people who rely on the product every day. “I love the idea of solving problems so I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of a team that lives to solve things. Solving the puzzles of a piece of software like trash flow is very exciting to me.

Sabin’s approach is centered on taking complicated processes and making them easier for users to understand and navigate. “Being able to take something complex and make it a little less so while improving the user experience is very exciting to me.â€

That philosophy closely aligns with Trash Flow’s long-standing mission. Rather than introducing changes simply for the sake of modernization, the company’s goal is to make meaningful improvements that help haulers accomplish their daily work more efficiently. “My ultimate goal is tied to the Trash Flow mission statement which is to save users time. Not just updating and changing the software for the sake of it, but to really achieve that goal of saving trash haulers time with every change we implement.â€

Customer Feedback at the Center of Product Development

As Sabin begins working with the Trash Flow team, one of his primary goals will be learning more about the waste hauling industry directly from the people who use the software by having conversations with haulers and using their input as the central informant in his process. “I don’t think design exists without input from the people using the product you’re creating, it’s paramount. Having conversations with haulers to understand their daily flow more and their lived experience with Trash Flow is the biggest first step.

This customer-first philosophy will help guide the continued evolution of Trash Flow’s software as the company works to improve usability without losing sight of the practical needs of waste hauling businesses. The addition of Sabin strengthens that momentum by bringing dedicated design and user experience expertise into the product development process.

Looking Toward the Future of 91²Ö¿â Hauling Software

As waste hauling companies continue to rely more heavily on technology to manage routing, billing, customer communication, payments, dispatching, and day-to-day operations, software usability has become increasingly important. Trash Flow’s continued investment in its products is intended to ensure that the platform not only provides the tools haulers need, but also makes those tools easier and more efficient to use.

The company’s approach remains straightforward: technology should make a hauler’s job easier, not more complicated. With Sabin joining the design team and working alongside George, Trash Flow is positioning itself for the next stage of product development—one that combines decades of industry knowledge with modern user experience practices and, most importantly, direct input from the waste hauling professionals who use the software every day. As Trash Flow continues to evolve, its mission remains the same: save users time and help waste hauling businesses operate more efficiently. The team is excited to welcome Sabin and looks forward to working alongside him.
