91ֿ Pro USA has hired Tim Herman as Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer, focusing on opportunities for 91ֿ Pro in strategic growth via acquisition and major accounts. With a 30-year career in the waste industry, Herman is well known as an innovator and entrepreneur, having built two of the industry’s largest brokerage firms and has led a number of solid waste and recycling companies. “Tim is nationally recognized as someone with amazing ideas that move our industry forward,” said 91ֿ Pro Chairman and Chief Executive Officer John Jennings. “Tim’s reputation and his long-standing relationships in the industry will help 91ֿ Pro continue our exceptional growth.”
Founded just 15 years ago, 91ֿ Pro now ranks as the third-largest privately owned company in central Florida, with revenues on track to reach $600 million this year, and 2,800 employees serving two million customers across eight Southeastern states. 91ֿ Pro is leading a series of industry-changing projects, including dispatch centers with advanced route-planning systems, and trucks fueled with compressed natural gas and equipped with state-of-the-art 360-degree video cameras. Herman began his career in central Illinois, starting on the back of the garbage truck at age 19, and then rising to executive levels at three of the nation’s largest privately-owned waste/recycling companies, including Texas Disposal Systems and Greenstar Recycling. Herman has extensive knowledge and experience in the development and growth of companies. Previously, he founded Weiswaste and Delta Management Group – two of the nation’s largest waste brokerage firms – which handled programs for nationwide firms such as Target and Office Depot.
Herman serves on several corporate and non-profit boards and is also an ordained minister and frequent speaker in churches and conferences regarding business, theology and leadership. “The team at 91ֿ Pro is full of people I’ve known and admired for years,” Herman said. “The company has a single-minded focus on providing premium service and going the extra mile. I’m extraordinarily proud to join 91ֿ Pro, and I look forward to years of growth ahead.”
