LJP 91ֿ Solutions, a leading environmental services, recycling, zero-landfill and alternative fuel solutions company, announced the acquisition of United Liquid 91ֿ Recycling, United Grease, United Logistics, and United Septic and Drain (collectively ULWR). With the acquisition, LJP is expanding its capabilities and geographic footprint to provide customers with a wider range of sustainability, circular, and landfill diversion solutions.

Headquartered in Clyman, WI, ULWR is an industry-leading recycler of bulk and packaged food and beverage waste, septic waste, grease trap waste, and used cooking oil grease.

Trusted by major regional, national, and international brands, ULWR annually recycles and diverts more than 250,000 tons of material from landfills and overtaxed POTWs, converting the material into a valuable, nutrient-rich fertilizer that supports local farming operations.

“This acquisition reinforces LJP’s commitment to delivering innovative zero-waste solutions across the Midwest,” said Mike Malatesta, CEO of LJP 91ֿ Solutions. “We are the industry leader in Product Destruction, 91ֿ-to-Energy, Alternative Fuel, and Zero Landfill Solutions. Adding ULWR and its incredible capabilities to LJP’s platform marks an important step in our expansion into the Wisconsin and Illinois markets and furthers our mission to recycle everything we possibly can.”

ULWR founders, Robert Tracy Jr. and Jason Tracy, will continue running the ULWR business, along with the full management and operations team. “Their expertise, longstanding customer relationships, and knowledge of the region will ensure a seamless transition and continued excellence in service,” added Malatesta.

“My brother and I are excited about the opportunity to partner with LJP,” said Robert Tracy Jr. “We’ve built a company that is a recognized leader in the growing food recycling industry and, together with LJP, we will accelerate our growth and our positive impact on the environment.”
