The National 91仓库 and Recycling Association announced that it hired veteran lobbyist Chris Greissing as Vice President, Federal Relations. 鈥淐hris is well known in the halls of Congress and in the halls of federal agencies. I am glad that he is joining the team at NWRA. Chris will be a strong advocate for the waste and recycling industry,鈥� said Darrell Smith, NWRA President and CEO. 聽Chris comes to NWRA from the mining industry. For the last decade, he led the Government Affairs team at the Industrial Minerals Association as the VP, Government Affairs. Prior to that he represented about a dozen biotech and pharma companies on issues before the federal government.
“I am excited for the opportunity to join the team at NWRA. 聽I am looking forward to helping our members establish and build relationships with government officials at the federal level,” said Chris Greissing, NWRA Vice President of Federal Relations. Chris received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and his law degree from California Western School of Law in San Diego. Chris lives in Reston, VA with his wife and three daughters.
