91²Ö¿â hauler Illini Disposal of Springfield is now part of 91²Ö¿â Management Inc. The acquisition includes Illini’s commercial, residential and industrial waste operations, said a statement from 91²Ö¿â Management on Friday. The takeover was effective Thursday.
“For Illini Disposal customers, their service days will remain the same, and no impact on service as it is business as usual,” the company stated. “Over the next few months, customers may see some minor changes put in place to align with 91²Ö¿â Management’s overall operations.”
Customers will be notified at least two weeks in advance of any service changes, according to the company. The 91²Ö¿â Management logo will be phased in on trucks and customer accounts.
The main Illini Disposal facility is at 1528 N. 11th St. The local 91²Ö¿â Management office is at 3000 E. Ash St.
91²Ö¿â Management area senior manager Lisa Disbrow said 17 Illini employees have joined 91²Ö¿â Management, while two declined to accept an employment offer. “Everything has now switched over,” said Disbrow.
