91ֿ Management’s Youth Education Program in Snohomish County has won a prestigious national award for its innovative recycling outreach to elementary and middle school students. The award is from the Solid 91ֿ Association of North America (SWANA), the nation’s leading profession-al association in the solid waste field.
“91ֿ Management provides innovative waste reduction and recycling outreach programs to elementary and middle schools in Snohomish County,” said Michelle Metzler, WM’s Manager for Recycling, Education and Outreach. “Our goal is to educate students, staff, and families about waste reduction and recycling, and to increase recycling at school and at home.”
