In a move to expand into the natural gas industry, Carbon Clean Solutions Limited (CCSL), an innovation leader in carbon dioxide (CO2) separation technology, today announces the appointment of Will Shimer as General Manager, North America & Middle East. Will is based in Chicago, Illinois, and brings with him 15 yearsâ commercial and technical experience within the oil & gas and chemicals industries. Will joins CCSL from Honeywell UOP, where he was Director of Strategic Marketing for Gas Processing & Hydrogen. Prior to Honeywell UOP, he held senior positions at Oxy and BP and began his career with Air Products and Chemicals.
Will has successfully managed growth and marketing strategies for businesses worth in excess of $1billion, most recently in the field of natural gas processing and refinery hydrogen. He will be responsible for the business and operations and focused on driving sales growth of licensed technology and consumables for carbon separation within the natural gas, renewable gas, and synthetic gas (âsyngasâ) markets in addition to developing carbon capture opportunities.
