MassRecycle is proud to announce an engaging lineup of roundtables and panel discussion for the 2026 MassRecycle Conference & Tradeshow, taking place on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at the Boxborough Regency Hotel.

This year’s program is designed to equip municipal leaders, sustainability professionals, haulers, consultants, students, and industry partners with practical tools, policy insights, and peer-driven strategies to advance waste reduction and recycling across Massachusetts.

Advancing Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)

As Massachusetts prepares for the next phase of waste policy reform, a featured panel will explore the implementation and opportunities surrounding Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR). Experts will share lessons learned, anticipated impacts for municipalities, and strategies to ensure local programs are positioned for success.

Operational Excellence for Municipalities

Municipal leaders will benefit from candid discussions on improving program efficiency, strengthening contracts, managing contamination, and navigating evolving regulatory requirements. These sessions are tailored to provide actionable takeaways that can be implemented immediately at the local level.

Circularity in Action: Replicable Reuse and Reduction Models

This forward-looking panel highlights real-world examples of reuse, repair, and waste reduction initiatives that are scalable and replicable. Attendees will gain insight into programs that are successfully reducing disposal while building community engagement and economic opportunity.

Interactive Roundtables: Peer-to-Peer Solutions

In addition to expert panels, the conference will feature facilitated roundtables that encourage direct knowledge sharing among attendees. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss challenges, exchange resources, and build connections that extend beyond the conference. Past attendees consistently describe the conference as both energizing and practical:

  • “I walked out inspired with a list of things I’d like to bring back to my city.â€
  • “It was an excellent conference, well run, relevant and the right people in the room – thanks!!!â€
  • “I am so glad I was able to attend, I learned quite a bit about programs and available resources!â€

The 2026 Conference & Trade Show continues MassRecycle’s commitment to strengthening waste reduction infrastructure, programs, and partnerships across the Commonwealth.
