The online platform serves as a centralized hub for recycling information. The website features the 91²Ö¿â Wizard, an interactive online directory that allows users to search for local and regional options for recycling and reuse.
The 91²Ö¿â Wizard provides clear guidance on where and how to dispose of items sustainably, from everyday household items to harder-to-recycle materials. “The goal of Shiawassee Recycles is to remove confusion around recycling and empower our community with practical, easy-to-use tools.”
“This website is a major step toward creating a more informed and environmentally responsible Shiawassee County.” The official launch of the website will take place during the Shiawassee Regional Chamber of Commerce Business Expo on Saturday, April 11, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Baker College Welcome Center, 1309 South Shiawassee Street in Owosso.
