What started as a small operation built on hard work and determination has evolved into a company serving customers nationwide. In 1986, Premier relocated to Valley View, Ohio, establishing the foundation for decades of steady growth and long-term relationships that continue to define the business today.
Premier has consistently evolved alongside the industries it serves. In 1997, the company introduced its first rental truck, a move that helped shape its future. That decision laid the groundwork for what is now one of the most reliable and widely used rental fleets in the refuse and vocational truck industry.
In 2005, Premier expanded into garbage trucks, strengthening its commitment to supporting waste and recycling operations. From municipalities to private haulers, customers increasingly relied on Premier not just for equipment, but for dependable solutions that keep their operations running.
As demand grew, so did Premier鈥檚 capabilities. In 2014, the company opened its first in-house fabrication shop, giving customers greater flexibility, faster turnaround times, and the ability to customize trucks to meet specific needs. In 2019, a downdraft paint booth was added, enhancing quality and ensuring every truck leaving the facility reflects the company鈥檚 standards.
Growth has always been about more than numbers, but milestones help tell the story. From renting its 5,000th truck to surpassing 9,000 trucks in service by 2026, Premier has built a fleet that reflects both scale and trust. Each truck represents a customer relationship and a job that needed to get done.
In recent years, Premier has continued to invest in ways that better serve its customers. In 2023, the company launched a dedicated Call Support Center, providing direct access to real people who assist with maintenance questions, technical support, parts, and more. It is another way Premier stands behind every truck it puts on the road.
In 2024, Premier introduced an automated truck wash system to improve efficiency and maintain the appearance of its equipment. In 2025, the company opened a new fabrication facility, expanding its ability to deliver high-quality, customized equipment at scale and support continued growth.
Today, Premier Truck Sales & Rental offers a full range of services, including truck sales, rentals, rent-to-own options, nationwide delivery, fabrication, and ongoing support. Its inventory includes roll-off trucks, rear loaders, automated side loaders, front loaders, hooklifts, container delivery units, and day cab tractors, serving customers across multiple industries.
