Trucks & Parts has named industry veteran Scott Edelbach as President, reinforcing the company’s commitment to operational excellence and continued growth across its nationwide truck dealership operations. Edelbach brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in the waste and recycling industry. He began his career at McNeilus in 1994, advancing through a series of leadership roles before serving as Vice President of Sales. In 2009, he founded Vocational Energy, focused on the design, construction, and management of CNG fueling stations. Following its merger with TruStar Energy, he served as Chief Operating Officer. Most recently, he was Executive Vice President of Operations at Opal Fuels.
His background spans equipment sales, alternative fuels infrastructure, operations management, procurement, vendor relations, and large-scale project execution. He has extensive knowledge of industry equipment and leadership experience across waste, municipal, and vocational truck markets. “Trucks & Parts has built a strong reputation over more than 75 years by staying focused on its customers and executing at a high level,” said Edelbach. “I look forward to working alongside the team to strengthen operations, support our partners, and continue building on that foundation for long term growth.”
“Scott brings deep industry knowledge and years of proven leadership,” said Matt McLeish, CEO of Vocational Trucks and Equipment. “He has earned the respect of customers across the waste and recycling sector and understands how to scale operations while maintaining the service standards our customers expect and rely on. We’re confident in his ability to lead Trucks & Parts forward.”
