Simplified Environmental Solutions LLC (SES), a nationwide leader in landfill diversion, announced the opening of its new corporate headquarters in Chesterfield, Missouri (St. Louis metro). The move supports the company’s expanding client base of manufacturers pursuing corporate zero-waste mandates. The new headquarters will serve as the operational hub for SES’s six zero waste locations, as well as the company’s nationwide sustainable waste logistics capabilities.“Manufacturers today are under increased pressure to reduce landfill exposure and reduce disposal costs – SES can do both,” said Chad Degraffenreid, CEO of SES. “This new headquarters positions us to accelerate our growth and deliver on our commitment to transform waste into valuable resources across North America.”
The Chesterfield headquarters is the next step in an aggressive expansion strategy. SES currently operates six zero waste facilities across Missouri, Kansas, Tennessee, and Utah, with plans to open additional locations throughout the United States within the next 12 months.“We are thrilled to see more sustainability-focused companies choosing to call Chesterfield home,” said Nora Amato, President of the Chesterfield Regional Chamber. “SES strengthens our region’s commitment to build a more sustainable and responsible business community, and we look forward to seeing the impact they will have across the region.”
“SES fills a real market void in the St. Louis region, providing companies in St. Louis and St. Charles County with an outlet for landfill diversion and sustainable waste management,” said Debbie Shaw-Franke, President of Progress 64 West. “Our region has needed more environmentally focused businesses to serve our growing sustainability demands. We are glad to see SES plant their roots here.”
SES offers a complete range of zero-waste-to-landfill solutions: non-hazardous materials processing, industrial recycling, food waste depackaging and reclamation, and assured destruction of finished goods. SES’s landfill diversion solutions are especially beneficial for non-uniform waste streams or mixed loads that cannot be recycled in a traditional way. Non-recyclable materials are processed into alternative fuels for industrial applications, serving as a direct offset to coal and natural gas.
SES accepts all non-hazardous waste profiles, including manufacturing byproducts, plastics and corrugated packaging, rubber and foam, mixed trailer loads, compactor waste, and off-spec or damaged consumer goods. A video tour of SES’s zero waste facilities can be seen here: .
