iSustain announced that it has been awarded ISCC PLUS certification, effective December 22, 2025. The certification confirms that iSustain meets the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) system’s requirements for sustainability, traceability, and chain-of-custody management within the plastics and materials value chain.
ISCC PLUS is a globally recognized certification program used across plastics, chemicals, packaging, and manufacturing markets to verify traceable and compliant material flows. Certification enables iSustain to participate in ISCC PLUS–certified circular and mass-balance supply chains and is increasingly required by manufacturers, brand owners, and downstream partners seeking validated recycled and circular material solutions.
With increasing regulatory scrutiny, brand-owner requirements, and audit expectations across plastics and chemical supply chains, ISCC PLUS certification has become a prerequisite for many advanced recycling, mass-balance, and circular-material programs. iSustain’s certification formally validates the company’s operational systems, documentation practices, and governance controls related to material traceability and sustainability claims. This designation allows iSustain, within the scope of its certified operations, to support supply chains that require verified compliance with ISCC system rules and third-party audit standards.
For customers, iSustain’s ISCC PLUS certification simplifies supplier qualification, reduces compliance risk, and enables participation in ISCC-certified material flows where traceability and documentation are required. “Achieving ISCC PLUS certification reinforces our commitment to operating within verified, traceable supply chains and meeting the evolving requirements of customers and partners across the plastics value chain,” said Mark Huber, President of Business Development at iSustain. “As sustainability expectations and regulatory requirements continue to increase globally, this certification positions iSustain to support compliant and scalable circular material flows.”
ISCC PLUS certification is widely adopted by global chemical producers, polymer manufacturers, and consumer-goods companies to support recycled-content verification, circularity initiatives, and ESG reporting requirements. For iSustain’s customers and partners, certification provides assurance that materials and associated sustainability claims are supported by recognized third-party verification. Certification under the ISCC system requires ongoing compliance, monitoring, and periodic audits. iSustain will continue to maintain certification in alignment with ISCC requirements and support partners navigating increasingly complex sustainability and reporting frameworks. iSustain is now positioned to support customers, producers, and brand owners seeking ISCC PLUS–compliant sourcing, logistics, and material management solutions.
