Keep Tennessee Beautiful announces the launch of an exclusive YouTube channel dedicated to the mission of KTnB. The site, targeted to educators, children, youth and families, features upbeat beautification and conservation videos designed to inspire all Tennesseans toward action. Themes include environmental conservation, litter prevention, and sustainability.

“This is one of the most exciting projects our organization has launched since our beginning more than 40 years ago,” Executive Director Missy Marshall, Keep Tennessee Beautiful, said. “While we invite all Tennesseans to subscribe and view these videos, the KTnB YouTube channel is specifically targeted to students, our next generation of conservationists. This is essential to accomplishing the mission of Keep Tennessee Beautiful for years to come.”

The YouTube idea was created and developed by Keep Tennessee Beautiful and Tennessee-based Erwin Media and made possible by the support of the Tennessee Department of Transportation. The series is professionally produced with a mindfulness for student impact. Each 5-10-minute show features an upbeat script that includes humor, graphics, real life leaders, and b-roll from cleanup events. “Who is Keep Tennessee Beautiful?” is the first video in the YouTube series, which provides a thorough explanation about the organization and why it’s important to the state. Additional teaching videos include “How to Plant a Tree,” “Cleanup Robot,” “How to Recycle,” and much more.

Each video brings a unique perspective on environmentalism, with practical lessons and real-world examples. The videos are designed to engage children, youth, families, and educators while encouraging positive environmental conservation action in communities.

“We’re happy to support KTnB’s YouTube Channel initiative,” Beth Emmons, TDOT Communications director, said. “As with all of TDOT’s marketing initiatives, we are deliberate about creative messaging. With the YouTube content, the goal is to grab our audience with an entertaining video that carries a strong message about environmentalism. We hope this YouTube Channel inspires more students and families to join KTnB’s mission and take action in their communities to Keep Tennessee Beautiful!”

KTnB’s marketing efforts for the YouTube Channel include a targeted outreach to Tennessee educators. Teachers are urged to subscribe and use the KTnB videos for shared classroom content. The organization encourages all Tennesseans to sign up on the FREE Keep Tennessee Beautiful YouTube channel for monthly notifications announcing brand new videos. Produced by Erwin Media, each short film is created to be kid-friendly and is formatted for classroom viewing and discussions.
